Hello and welcome to the all new Fenland Fishing Adventures Website.

Firstly let me thank all of you who have come fishing with me in the past and sent best wishes messages during my enforced break from professional fishing you will already know what a day I can provide and hopefully some of you will be tempted back as I have been.

For those of you who are new to the experience of having a local guide show you some of the predator fishing the fens can provide, then please read on.

The fens are made up of many drains and rivers and are renowned for their prolific predators such as Pike, Zander, Perch, Chub and even the odd Sea Trout. There have been many large fish caught in the system personally I have had Pike to 22lb Zander to 12lb and recently my personal best a of Perch 3lb. I have also helped others to catch some of their personal best, on one trip a 9 year old caught a 13lb Zander on a lure ( see photos)

This is not to say that all the fish are this size, but having fished the fens for over 30 years I am confident I can find some of nicer fish in the many nooks and crannies that are only accessible by boat.

For the re launch I have purchased a 14ft cathedral hulled boat for maximum stability and maneuverability, I have kitted it out with all the necessary items we will need for a good trip. Lifejackets and all tackle is provided inc bait and with a bit of luck I may even put the kettle on with a few biscuits ( nice on a cold winters day), all you need to bring is a few sandwiches and some warm clothing and hopefully a little luck.

So from the complete novice to the specimen hunter if you are thinking about fishing the fens for those elusive predators I look forward to hearing from you or if you just fancy a look around the site please feel free and tight lines to you all.

As any good guide can tell you fish can never be guaranteed but the experience can.
